This is our Community. We live here; we play here.

Upon my retirement from teaching in 2014, my wife and I decided to leave Central California and move closer to our daughter and her family. They lived in Bentonville, so we chose Bella Vista because it was close to them, the housing was affordable, and we could live in the woods surrounded by nature. Frankly, at that point in our lives we would have moved anywhere to be close to our grand kids, but we are so glad they were here. Now that we call Bella Vista home, we love kayaking on the lakes, my wife is a regular at the Riordan tennis facilities, and I can be found hiking the bike trails three or four days a week. I am also an avid volunteer, with responsibilities involving Tanyard Creek Nature Trail, the Bella Vista Bluebird Society, the Literacy Council of Benton County, and a local food pantry. Bella Vista is a wonderful place, and we are grateful to be a part of it.
